GPA Laboratories, a Sonic Healthcare Anatomic Pathology Practice, is privileged to include Christine S. Lin, M.D., as a member of its dynamic medical staff. Dr. Lin has an extensive academic and medical professional background.

Dr. Lin earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, graduating with distinction, magna cum laude. Subsequently, she received her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. She then went on to serve an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. She returned to Tulane University School of Medicine to complete a dermatopathology fellowship under Dr. Alun Wang. During her postgraduate training, Dr. Lin participated in various research projects as both a clinical assistant and laboratory assistant. She received a grant from the clinical research committee of the University of Florida College of Medicine for her research on the distribution of melanocytes within variants of basal cell carcinomas.

Upon completion of her postgraduate training, Dr. Lin began holding key positions in a variety of medical settings. She was a staff dermatopathologist and laboratory director at Dermatology Solutions Group in Panama City, Florida prior to her position with GPA Laboratories. 

Over the years, Dr. Lin has developed extensive professional experience. She holds medical research publications and articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and textbooks and has given oral and poster presentations at professional medical meetings, conferences, and universities. She is an active member of the American Medical Association, American Society for Clinical Pathology, College of American Pathologists, American Society of Dermatopathology, and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology.

Dr. Lin holds full medical licensure and is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, and dermatopathology.
